Connie Hagen is an ordained minister through Christ for the Nation’sInstitute in Dallas, Texas. For ten years, she was a private-practice licensed professional counselor who worked with women recovering from trauma. Through her ministry, she has cultivated a unique ability to connect with women who have experienced suffering, loss, brokenness, grief, and shame.
Connie received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Evangel University as well as her master’s of education degree in marriage and family counseling from the University of North Texas. She obtained her LPC license and specialized in post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety in women.
In 2004, she made the decision to devote herself to her growing family—Christopher, Tori, Maddie, and her husband, Jeff. Her husband left a large OB/GYN Medical Group in the DFW area to establish a private practice in the small town of Bastrop, Texas. For the following fifteen years, she dedicated herself to raising her children and managing her husband’s medical practice. Their shared vision to provide medical care to the underserved and economically disadvantaged was a natural progression of Connie’s passion to serve women in need.
She currently serves as director of the women’s ministry at her local
church, where she uses her gifts of teaching and public speaking on a regular
basis.
Whether it's a retreat, conference, Bible study, or special gathering,
Connie is available to speak on topics of healing, restoration, and walking with Christ through suffering.
